Hello, and welcome to Year 6 Lockwood. I'm Mr Lockwood, the class teacher, and I've been teaching for 24 years! This is my first time in Year 6. We are really lucky, and being supported by Miss Sherwood, Miss Kifa, Miss Louise and Miss Amy. On a Wednesday afternoon, I have my PPA and Ms Szulak takes the children for Science. 

In Year 6 we are working hard towards our SATs in reading, writing, and maths. After SATs we will be completing the other curriculum areas. 

To help support your child at home, you can:

Ensure they complete homework tasks, ensure they access online learning tasks (Spelling Shed and TTRockstars), ensure they read every night, keep lines of communication open with your teachers, get your child to bed at a reasonable hour, ensure they have a good breakfast.
