Hello. We are 5CG. We have a fabulous team of individuals who are working hard to ensure your child has what they need to succeed. They are: Mr Gough class teacher; Miss Louise TA, Mrs Ahmed TA, Mrs Lunn TA, Miss Dickinson TA and Miss Szulek intervention teacher.

In year 5, we will be learning how to swim; taking part in exciting trips and providing lots of extra-curricular opportunities. Academically, we will be preparing your children for the journey into year 6 and beyond. To help us with this, we ask that you work with us to ensure your children succeed. You can do this by:

Ensuring they complete homework tasks,

Ensure they access online learning tasks,

Ensure they read every night,

Keep lines of communication open with your teachers,

Get your child to bed at a reasonable hour,

Ensure they have a good breakfast.

Let's make year 5 a year to remember and a year of success.
